On Thursday, Sept. 24, Hyfi, an Ann Arbor company, installed a sensor-driven river monitoring device on the bridge over the Shiawassee River in downtown Chesaning. The data collected by the sensor is designed to benefit paddlers, fishermen, stormwater managers and emergency responders, enabling them to stay up to date on the latest conditions on the Shiawassee River.
